Science House Activities
Festivals

There is a need for more projects that motivate people to explore the science and the opportunities it presents for self development. The lack of knowledge about the use of science in our everyday life prevents people from relating to the application and value of science. It is important to motivate younger generations to learn and be inspired by successful Palestinian, Arab and international role models in the fields of science and technology and to create linkages between schools and universities. Moreover, it is an occasion for Palestinians working in the field of science to have a platform for exchange to present their scientific and industrial skills and experiences.

In 2010 for the first time, the Palestinian Science Festival was an innovative idea developed through the combined efforts of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), Al-Nayzak for Supportive Education & Scientific Innovations, the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the NGO La Voix de l’Enfant.
In the following years Al Nayzak continued the initiative of organizing science festivals in partnerships with other entities and universities.
